Are there any alternatives to AB glue mixing nozzles?

Operation Method

  1. Prepare Materials: Ensure the AB glue cartridge (with separate A and B components) and a matching disposable mixing nozzle are intact. Check that the nozzle’s internal spiral mixer is not damaged.
  1. Attach the Nozzle: Remove the cartridge’s protective cap. Screw the mixing nozzle firmly onto the cartridge’s outlet until it’s airtight—avoid loose connections to prevent leakage.
  1. Prime the Nozzle: Hold the cartridge upright, point the nozzle away from yourself/others. Squeeze the cartridge gently to dispense 2-3cm of mixed glue. Discard this initial amount, as it may not be fully blended.
  1. Apply Evenly: Align the nozzle with the bonding surface. Squeeze the cartridge steadily to release a continuous, uniform bead of mixed glue. Move the nozzle smoothly at a consistent speed for even coverage.
  1. Dispose After Use: Once application is complete, unscrew the nozzle from the cartridge and discard it immediately. Do not reuse—retained glue will cure and block the nozzle.

Precautions

  • Compatibility Check: Use only nozzles designed for your AB glue cartridge model to ensure proper mixing ratio and fit.
  • Avoid Contamination: Keep the nozzle and bonding surfaces clean—dust or oil will affect adhesion.
  • Safety First: Wear gloves and eye protection. Avoid skin contact; rinse immediately with water if glue touches skin. Work in a well-ventilated area.
  • Timing Matters: AB glue cures quickly—complete application within the product’s working time (usually 5-20 minutes). Do not leave the nozzle attached to the cartridge unused.
  • Storage: Store unopened nozzles in a dry, cool place. Do not expose to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
